Once part of the National Garden Scheme, our gardens have long been admired for their beauty and tranquillity. Created in the 1920s they are a masterpiece of design, with exotic plants, herbaceous borders and winding woodland walks - perfect for wildlife spotting or moments of quiet reflection.
Set in an elevated position, the gardens offer sweeping views over Lee Bay beach and the vast ocean beyond. Lee bay is a secluded, sandy cove dotted with rock pools, and is perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, dog walks and exploring.
THE BOATHOUSE COTTAGE
Next door to Cliffe House is our sister property The Boathouse - a smaller holiday home accommodating 4 guests in 2 bedrooms (dogs also welcome!).
The Boathouse features an open plan living space with a beautiful hand crafted solid wooden dining table, a cosy log burning stove and a plush teal sofa. Patio doors lead to a spacious outside area ideal for alfresco dining.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and impressive ocean views across the bay.
